This video explains how to replace the lead acid battery on a golf cart with a lithium battery.
Divided into the following steps:
1. Preparing for removing lead-acid batteries
Tools for battery replacement: Ratchet or socket wrench set. Be sure to wear goggles and gloves before removing the lead-acid battery to prevent acid and corrosion, as lead-acid batteries are heavy, you'll need a battery strap. For 12V converters, a wire stripping and connection kit is required. Before starting, it is recommended to take a picture of your setup and draw a wiring diagram to help you keep track of all the connections. Turn off the vehicle and unplug the charger and you can remove the battery.

2. Remove old lead-acid batteries
First, disconnect the main negative cable, then disconnect the main positive cable. Remove the remaining cables from the old battery before removing the battery. After removing the battery, it is recommended to clean the battery well with baking soda and water to remove battery acid from the surface.

3. Installing lithium battery
When you have the batteries secured in the cart and connected together, you can connect the main cables, all connections should be tightened to 10 ft lbs from the positive side. Once you've connected the battery to your cart, you're ready to go! Test your cart before packing, double check all connections, and after making sure they are secure, apply some insulating grease to your battery terminals to protect them from the elements.
