Bootsy, Maceo and the rest of James Brown's band have at it one night on David Letterman, back when he was hip and funny and on NBC and then we merge into Marvin Gaye who gives it all up for his song and there you have it - today's Segue City Special... it must be an illness of some kind when somebody takes a perfectly good business that was doing well and trashes it to please a group of people who apparently don't have the sense that God gave seafood and yet it's happening in a number of places in the country... beats us... hell of a way to run a railroad but in less than 10 days the railroads won't be running either...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
