The Ukrainian military on Monday, November 7th, reported strikes on a fuel and lubricant depot used by Russian occupying forces in the Luhansk village of Dibrova, close to the recently recaptured city of Lyman and the occupied city of Sievierodonetsk. Footage released by the Strategic Communications Directorate (StratCom) of Ukraine’s Armed Forces shows buildings at the western edge of Dibrova, straddling the border between Donetsk and Luhansk regions, being blown up. According to StratCom, the artillery strikes were carried out by the 140th battalion of the Ukrainian marines. On Monday, a pro-Kremlin war correspondent, Evgeniy Lisitsyn of ANNA News, reported that Ukrainian forces had been attempting to encircle occupying Russian forces in Dibrova, but without success. The video was released five days after Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces published aerial footage showing strikes on troops and buildings at the southeast edge of Dibrova.
