The spectacular scenery, dotted with hot air balloons, ancient cities and picturesque valleys is a must visit destination. There are underground cities, cliffside caves and religious sanctuaries carved into the spires. Humans have lived in Cappadocia since the 4th century and when visiting this remote area of Turkey, one feels as if you have steppted back in time. Or perhaps time has stood still.
