Battlefield 2: Modern Combat was the first Battlefield game in the series to be released on a console platform, and the first Battlefield game in the series to have a single-player storyline. Although set in the same modern warfare setting as Battlefield 2 between the US, China and Arabia, the detailed elements are very different.
