Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, SJ
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Teilhard_de_Chardin

Teilhard made sense of the universe by assuming it had a vitalist evolutionary process.[20][21] He interprets complexity as the axis of evolution of matter into a geosphere, a biosphere, into consciousness (in man), and then to supreme consciousness (the Omega Point).

Teilhard has had a profound influence on the New Age movements and has been described as "perhaps the man most responsible for the spiritualization of evolution in a global and cosmic context".
