Former Thai policeman kills at least 30, mostly children, in nursery attack

Dozens of people, mostly children, were killed on October 6, 2022, in a mass shooting carried out by an ex-policeman at a childcare centre in northeastern Thailand, police said. The attacker later killed his wife and child before taking his own life. The death toll at 7.30pm local time stood at 36, making it the worst mass shooting in recent Thai history.
