"Competition was important for Miggy" - Eddie Howe on Miguel Almiron winning his place in the side

Eddie Howe says he doesn't expect Miguel Almiron to continue scoring in the way he has so far this season, he says his expectations are only for Almiron to be scoring from the right positions on the field.

He says his players scoring tap-ins are what will help Newcastle progress this season.

Almiron has scored seven goals this season with his last six goals coming in the his last six games for Newcastle United.

Newcastle play Southampton live on Sky Sports Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
