- Eat healthy and balanced meals: A diet that is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals will help to reduce the amount of belly fat. Foods such as lean meats, fish, eggs and dairy products are all great options for this. .- Exercise: Ideally, a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise three times a week is sufficient for the body to function properly. If there is no time for this, at least try and get in a short 10 minute walk.
