ECB's Lagarde Says Recession Alone Won't Tame Inflation

European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde says a recession by itself will not be "sufficient to tame inflation" in the eurozone and addresses concerns about potential spillover effects from the Federal Reserve's monetary policy. Lagarde spoke Thursday at a conference in Riga, Latvia.
