Starting from Staten Island and finishing at Central Park,... Sunday's race saw over 50-thousand people participate.
Covering a 42-kilometer course, runners jogged through the city's five boroughs of the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.
Evans Chebet and Sharon Lokedi of Kenya crossed the finish-line first,... in the men's and women's races, respectively.
The marathon was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19,... and was limited to 30-thousand people in 2021.
