Malaysia has begun a massive operation to deport hundreds of thousands of suspected illegal workers. More than 10,000 officers have begun checking businesses that employ migrants from countries such as Indonesia and Nepal. Previous efforts to deport illegal immigrants -- who carry out low paid jobs which are unpopular with most Malaysians -- have not been successful.
