Keep Trump out of jail after January 6
There is no question that former President Donald Trump bears moral responsibility for the attack on the U.S. Capitol, as the most recent testimony at the committee hearings on January 6 makes plain.

But there is a significant difference between moral responsibility and criminal liability, and anyone who believes that this will result in Trump being charged with incitement and sentenced to prison has to get their priorities straight.
It is clear from eyewitness accounts from this week's hearings on January 6 that Trump wants his followers to march to the Capitol. He stated in a draft tweet that was never delivered, "Please arrive early, as I will be giving a Big Speech at the Ellipse on January 6th at 10AM.
