FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022: A closer look at Al Bayt Stadium
1 year ago
The FIFA World Cup 2022 kicks off with hosts Qatar taking on Ecuador on November 20 al Al Bayt Stadium.
It is the second biggest stadium Qatar has to offer with a 60,000 seat capacity.
The venue is fashioned to replicate the bayt al sha’ar, the tents historically used by the nomadic people of Qatar throughout history.
Its magnificent tent structure envelopes an ultra-modern football stadium, welcoming visitors into comfort as has been the tradition in this part of the world for centuries.
