Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky made a plea to Israel on Sunday, March 20, 2022 as Russian missiles slammed into a village and a shopping center around Kyiv.

A huge blast shook the city when the mall in Kyiv was hit by an air strike killing at least one person, who was found covered in dust amid the twisted debris.

The Ukraine crisis has worsen since the invasion. Zelensky urged Israel to abandon its effort to maintain neutrality following Russia's invasion saying the time had come for the Jewish state to firmly back his country.
