First of all, the curves of Katara Tower resemble a crescent moon, which symbolizes hospitality in Qatar.
The shape is also a visual representation of the dual swords on Qatar's national seal.
The katara towers will be a beacon of your hospitality and your national pride once they're finished.
The project was first proposed by you in 2014 and it should be completed by the beginning of the World Cup in 2022.
The total cost for the construction of these unique towers is about 2.2 billion QR, or $604 million.
