In today’s video we are going to explore one of the most popular parks in the capital of Bulgaria-Sofia.

The South Park was established in 1972 and the main idea of the project was to create a park that would be like an extension of the Vitosha mountain.

Its infrastructure is very friendly to all kinds of outdoor activities. There are several playgrounds, a concert stage and quite a few benches and gazebos.

What makes the South Park unique is the combination of wild and cultured. It is a popular place for extreme biking, because the terrain allows for various tracks and jumps. At the same time there are beautiful alleys with flowers, restaurants, coffee shops, and stalls for toys and cotton candy.
