Donny Hathaway and the Doobies make up today's Segue City Special which is probably a surprise to everybody thinking we were going to get political today but we're not going there. Everybody who is going to vote today probably made up their minds as to who they were going to vote for long before today so we decided to simply put a calming segue out today instead. Besides, while everybody's in line to vote, that means that they're not in line for when the HOT NOW light comes on...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
