In this episode of Front Row Rugby Springbok Rugby legend and former captain Tiaan Strauss discusses his short career with the Boks; touring France and England in 1992, being overlooked for the captaincy in 1993 and skippering the side in the first Test against New Zealand in 1994. Strauss shares how he felt missing out on the 1995 Rugby World Cup and being told he would not play for the Springboks as long as Francois Pienaar was captain. Tiaan moved to Australia and tells us what it was like playing against South Africa and the redemption of winning the 1999 Rugby World Cup with the Wallabies.

Although as a sports journalist I am supposed to remain neutral, I always like to point out that before I became a professional, I was just a big fan! I hold a Masters Degree in International Journalism so at least you know I should be able to ask a good question or two! My dream is to do this YouTube Channel permanently.
