Singapore looking carefully at how to provide better support to displaced workers: Tan See Leng

Singapore is looking at ways to better support those who are unemployed, but the goal remains to help as many of them bounce back into a job. Speaking at a dialogue under the Forward Singapore initiative, Manpower Minister Tan See Leng said this is part of a plan to create more opportunities, and assure Singaporeans they will have a fair shot at gaining the skills and experience they need. He added that building a strong economy is essential to create good jobs for Singaporeans.
