DBS posts 32% rise in Q3 net profit

Singapore's largest lender DBS posted a record profit in the third quarter, as net profit surged 32 per cent on-year to S$2.24 billion. Total income rose 28 per cent on-year to S$4.54 billion. Net interest income surged 44 per cent, as net interest margin rebounded to pre-pandemic highs of 1.9 per cent.
