3 Ways to Crack an Urchin

An underwater photographer has captured rare footage of a vibrant venomous Fire Urchin.

The multi-coloured creature has been filmed moving along the sea bed in the Lembeh Strait, Indonesia.

The colourful rainbow critter, known as a Fire Urchin, was spotted by Melissa Yeo from Brisbane, Australia during a dive.

Remarkably the detailed footage even shows other fish and shrimp hidden in the spikes of the urchin.

The tiny creatures use the urchin as protection from larger predators - even though the Fire Urchin is venomous itself.
