Dining in the air at Indonesia’s 'Lounge in the Sky' restaurant

Indonesians now have the chance to eat their meals in the air, as the country experiences its first “Lounge in the Sky” restaurant. The aerial dining experience suspends customers at a height of up to 50 metres (164ft) using a crane, depending on weather conditions. For about an hour, diners remain strapped into their seats while chefs and servers wear safety harnesses. The concept was developed by two Belgian entrepreneurs and has expanded to dozens of countries since 2006.
