The Gospel of the Kingdom: David Rubin of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund

My good friend, Janice Sturkie, hosted David Rubin of Shiloh Israel Children's Fund in her home in Hempstead, Texas. David shared a lot of the current political and spiritual state of Israel and also America. David holds dual citizenship in Israel and America. He also talked about his organization, Shiloh Israel Children's Fund.

It all began when David Rubin, former mayor of Shiloh, Israel, was attacked by Islamic terrorists. His car was showered with bullets and it was a miracle that he was able to make it to the closest community up the road. David’s three-year-old son was in the car with him, and he was struck by a bullet that missed his brain stem by 1 millimeter. After all of the surgeries and physical recovery, it was clear that this young child needed therapy to work through the trauma.

It was then that the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund was born. Our mission is to heal the trauma of children who are victims of terror, resulting in a brighter future for the children in the heartland of Israel.
