Our Present Diesel Fuel Crisis is a Result of Political Ideocracy.
Removing viable energy options when there is no substitute to fill the void is sheer insanity. California's car charging ban coming on the heels of announcing new gas car sales would become illegal is symptomatic of the ridiculousness.

There is something disturbingly wrong when people are willing to jeopardize an entire national economy and the safety of its citizens in order to get their way.

If we do nothing soon, we may all see firsthand why planned economies are always a bad idea. Perhaps those who will be most disappointed are the ones who bought into it so strongly, and blindly.
