Mosaic benches can be a great way to add permanent seating and express your creative side! Here, Douglas made an outdoor garden mosaic bench out of scrap bathroom tiles from our house. This can easily be made from sandbags, earthbags, bricks (which is what Douglas did), or rocks. He filled in our mosaic bench with sand and then covered the outside with concrete. He then inlaid the broken pieces of tile in a whimsical oceanic themed pattern in muted colors. Once we are in Arizona, he cannot wait to use the brighter more vibrant colors for our future projects!
