Twitter's $8 a month Verification

Elon Musk now owns Twitter and he's about to strip famous people of their verification if they don't pay 8 dollars a month. I find this really funny because the ones who are complaining the most are so rich they can't even spend all their money if they tried. It's kind of an insult to suggest that average American's can't afford 8 dollars a month for a better platform.
