Join me in Joinville, Santa Catarina state's largest city as I update on the last 24hrs in Brazil, and show the protests as they continue for their fifth day here.

What's going on with Lula? No word from him in the last 48hrs now. Could he really have had a stroke on Friday? Tine will tell.

Rumors of a meeting at midnight on the 29th of October of some Brazil's highest ranked officials including Alexandre de Moraes, Jose Roberto Marinho, ex president of Rede Globo, the country's largest television station, Sr. Cuca Belludo, PT's campaign Director, William Bono, a superstar primetime News Anchor from O Globo TV station, Sr. Frederick Wassef, a lawyer for Bolsonaro and a lawyer representative of Lula in the TSE (loosely translated: Supreme Electoral Tribunal) where many deals were made which effectively sold the presidency to Lula while Lula himself waited in a hotel lobby, and Bolsonaro was making an appearance on tv.
Amomg the deals made, besides that of the Presidency to Lula, were acquittals of PT officials from past scandals (Mensalão, Petrolão) and guarantees of bribes funded by the country's state run oil and petrolium company, Petrobras.

Lots of donations comimg in from local residents and businesses in Joinville which are funding water, snacks and meals for participents in the protests.

It looks like the people of Joinville are setting up for the long haul.

I'll be here daily to keep you up to date on what's happening on the ground.
