Madonna and KC and the Sunshine Band roll into Monday's Segue City Special with a bang and just like that we're into a week fraught with all kinds of meanings... an election to start cleaning up the mess in the swamp, Georgia being acknowledged as NUMBER ONE in ALL the polls this week after their convincing victory over Tennessee and Houston declaring a citywide holiday for the entire week after the Astros finished off the Phillies in the World's Series... So make sure your seatbelt is secure because it's gonna be like what Betty Davis said it would be...

And did we mention that the Tide died in Baton Rouge too? Life is good...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
