[NO COMMENT] AMAZING transformation of Jakarta's old city 🇮🇩

Today's no comment walking trip is through the old city center of Jakarta, also known as Kota Tua. Many of the buildings here date back to the early Dutch colonial time in the 17th and 18th century with the latest buildings constructed in the golden years in the early 20th century. This area has seen an amazing transformation from a car-centric and noisy area to a now largely completely pedestrianized area that stretches for thousands of square meters. Access to the train station and bus stop has also been made much more safe for pedestrians with narrow-laned roads. What also emerged is a new little square right in front of the train station. That area used to be one messy piece of Jakarta!
