Lord, help me to spend a lot more time listening, than speaking, for everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. (James 1:19) Otherwise I might miss the Good News. Bless me for I hear Your Word and I obey it. (Luke 11:28).

Help me to stay receptive and to
act on what I hear for true openness requires more than merely listening to Your word, and thus deceiving myself. Help me, God, to do what it says. (James 1:22)

Grant me undying faith and confidence that You, Lord, Hear me, and that if I should ask anything according to Your Will, You will hear it. (1 John 5:14)
