Kosovo special forces advanced to Mitrovica, Serbs quitted all power instructions

Kosovo and Metohija Serbs quitted all power instructions of the non-recognized Kosovo. Serb leader Goran Rakic resigned from the Kosovo government, together with Serb lawmakers, judges and municipality heads. Later, Serb police officials took off Kosovo uniforms and shoulder marks right during a meeting.

The special forces of the unrecognized Kosovo began to be pulled to Mitrovica, writes the Serbian edition of Novosti. The media refers to a video published in the Kosovo edition of Koha.

The published footage shows the movement of armored vehicles. A headline in a Serbian newspaper claims that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti "wants war." According to the Vecherne Novosti newspaper, special forces detachments are being drawn to the north of Kosovo and Metohija.

The situation in the region escalated due to the fact that Pristina imposed a ban on Serbian license plates for a week. Those who did not have time to change them are fined by the authorities. Against this background, the Serbs began to leave positions in the state structures of Kosovo until the new rule is lifted.

Several heads of municipalities have left their posts, deputies have left the Kosovo parliament, employees of the courts, the prosecutor's office and the police are leaving.

On Tuesday, November 1, it became known that Serbian military equipment headed for the administrative line with Kosovo and Metohija. The head of the Serbian defense department stressed that no one seeks a military clash, but the country's army is "ready to complete any task."
