Singer Aaron Carter, who was found dead in a bathtub today, was discovered and managed by Lou Pearlman as a child. He also managed NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Pearlman was charged with defrauding investors and running a Ponzi scheme. Also, he’s been accused of sexually abusing some of his child clients. Charlie Crist, who is running for governor in Florida, allegedly delayed and interfered into investigations into Pearlman when he served as Florida’s attorney general.
