Drink of the Evening
THE MAGA MOJITO

in a Boston shaker
2 cubes of ice in the large tin
in the small tin (in order please)
2 sugar cubes
1 scant dash fee brothers mint bitters
muddle (just enough to crush the cubes)
1 lime cute into wedges
4 oz your choice white rum (mine was Bacardi)
1/2 oz your choice 151 rum (mine was Don Q)
1/2 oz simple syrup
muddle for 5-10 seconds
ADD 5-8 mint leaves
LOCK YOUR TIN
Shake vigorously 10 seconds (this effectively muddles the mint)
DOUBLE STRAIN (meaning with a standard hawthorn AND a fine mesh strainer) over 2 cubes of ice in a FRESH rocks glass.
