Iran made a suborbital (without entering the Earth's orbit) test launch of the Ghaem-100 carrier rocket.
This is a fully solid-propellant three-stage rocket that is capable of launching an 80 kg satellite into an orbit of 500 km.
Iran's Nahid satellite will soon be launched using this launch vehicle.
