Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Terrace Hills Golf Course Kim Reynolds and her Republican team’s bus tour stopped in Altoona to speak to voters in the area with only 9 days until the November midterm elections.

Secretary of State & Commissioner of Elections Paul Pate talks about election integrity of our elections to you this coming fall. "I want to make sure that you have the upmost confidence in that we are going to deliver integrity. The Democrats don't get that. They are just focused on the participation side. We understand that you have to have both... The participation and integrity. They are not mutually exclusive. We have to hammer that through and we do that through things like voter id. Ok, yes, yes. We worked hard to get this legislation passed, and it was just enough to pass it. We had to make sure it was going to stand up in court. I get sued so many times right now I'm losing track. The deeds just keep bringing lawsuits. The interesting part is that they can't find a single Iowan who was disenfranchised by voter ID. Not one...Not one... It's about easy to vote, but hard to cheat."
