A mobile laboratory began to work for the selection of DNA materials from persons whose relatives went missing or died as a result of the aggression of Russian troops in the city of Izium, Kharkiv region, on Friday (Nov. 04).

In order to identify unidentified bodies that Ukrainian law enforcement officers have found in mass burial sites, relatives of people who are believed to have died are submitting their DNA samples after testifying to prosecutors.

After the interrogation, people hand over a sample of biomaterial in a mobile laboratory, which was given to Ukraine by the French government.

Ukrainian law enforcement officers need to establish the identities of 450 bodies found at the site of the mass burial.
