I. The Heart of Rebellion - Psalm 2:1-5
* A. The Satanic conspiracy
* 1. Stands against Almighty God the Father
* 2. And Jesus Christ the Messiah
* a. They conspire to break God’s Law
* b. And to throw off all godly constraint on human action
* B. Yet God laughs at them, He judges them - Psalm 2:6-12
* 1. They wickedly recode human DNA - Psalm 139:16
* 2. They throw off God’s restraints on sexual morality 

II. Woe to the Wicked - Zephaniah 3:1
* A. Woe - a curse, a denunciation a calling down a heavy calamity, grief, sorrow and great misery 
*  B. Filthy Rebellion against God - 1 Samuel 15:23
* 1. The rebel thinks he will get away with it - 1 Samuel 12:15
* 2. The rebel doesn’t break God’s eternal law so much as he breaks himself on the unchangeable Law of God
* C. Rebellion produces pollution
* 1. The land is defiled - Proverbs 14:34
* 2. The individual sinners are also defiled - Leviticus 18:24-30
* D. Rebellion results in Oppression overtaking a land
* 1. True liberty is only available to a people walking in obedience to the Law of God - 2 Corinthians 3:17
* a. Such obedience respects and obeys God’s commands 
* b. It protects the God given rights of your neighbor
* 2. Every God given right exists to fulfill a God given duty
