David Letterman interviews Zelensky in underground Kyiv metro station

TV host David Letterman interviewed Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky in a Kyiv metro station for an episode of his Netflix show, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

Video by Serhiy Leshchenkom, an advisor to President Zelensky’s chief of staff, shows Zelensky speaking with Letterman while surrounded by a camera crew in a train station.

“After Netflix’s announcement, it’s no longer a secret,” Leshchenkom said, according to a machine translation, adding that the interview will be aired before the end of the year.

My Next Guest Needs No Introduction consists of one long form interview per episode, conducted by Letterman. The show has been running for four seasons and has featured Barack Obama, Will Smith, Kim Kardashian, Howard Stern and Malala Yousafzai, among others.
