House Speaker Pelosi makes first on camera comments following attack on her husband

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has made her first on camera comments since the brutal attack on her husband in their San Francisco home.

David Depape is accused of breaking into the Pelosi home last Friday and striking Paul Pelosi with a hammer.

Court documents say Depape entered the home and was looking for the house speaker — who was in Washington D.C. At the time.

Paul Pelosi underwent surgery to repair a skull fracture... And the 82 year old also suffered injuries to his right arm and hands.

Politicians on both sides of the aisle along with many Americans have condemned the attack.
