Philippians 3:13-14 King James Version
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY FRIENDS!!!

How do you think your faith motivates you to give your very best?
What motivates your walk with Christ? Are you motivated by a desire to serve Christ, because you love God, or are you trying to earn love and salvation that He's already given you? Who are you running the race for? For God, a denomination, a person, or something more?
These are just some of the questions I ask myself is I serve the Lord every day. I want to know what motivates, is it my love for the Lord, or listening to please others. My prayer, as I shared this vlog with all of you tonight, is that you will know what motivates your walk with Christ, and I pray that it's a godly motivation. Come join me in this vlog, and learn how to have that motivation to run the race, and reach the prize! 😊
So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it both challenges and motivates you in your walk with Christ.
How can you avoid legalism as you grow in spiritual disciplines?
I think it starts with remembering just WHO you are serving, and that you are serving God and not man. That you train and discipline yourself in Christ, out of your love for Him, and not out of any need to earn his favor. I believe this is accomplished through reading God's word for yourself every day, and living out the principles and precepts of God's word in your life. That you do so, not to please a denomination, person, or even your family, but to please God and God alone. Show humility every day in your walk with Christ, and remember that you were doing this out of your love for Jesus. I think that's why I echo the prayer from this morning's devotions, when it says,
“Father, help me to grow and discipline as a response to Your love and not as an attempt to earn something You’ve already given me.”

UNTIL SUNDAY:
HAVE A VERY BLESSED AND PEACEFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
