Encounter With Red Shoulder Hawk

Red Shoulder Hawks are powerful and beautiful predatory birds. This wild red shoulder hawk spent over an hour with me and I got so close to it that I could have touched it. It visited me a few days in a row during the golden hour, then it disappeared. This is one of the largest and most beautiful hawks I have seen. Even the local natural history museum only had red shoulder hawk examples of about half the size.
