Amazing sunset hike to the rock formation "Hamburger Wappen" | Harz Mountains, Germany

The "Hamburger Wappen" (approx. 252 m above sea level) is a particularly striking rock formation of the Teufelsmauer in the northern Harz foreland in the state of Saxony-Anhalt / Germany.

This natural monument of sandstone with the three distinctive rock needles rises about 90 meters above the surrounding terrain. It is possible, but not entirely safe, to climb up the steeply rising rock needles. The view extends far into the northern Harz foreland and is of course particularly beautiful at sunset.
