Mortgage Catastrophe | UK Housing Market 2022 | Saj Hussain

In recent weeks the mortgage market has been turned on its head. Unless you have been hiding under a rock, you will be aware of what is happening to interest rates and the effect it is having on the mortgage market. A lot of mortgage lenders have pulled mortgage products, all be it temporarily, whilst they try and make sense of what is going on and are starting to return to the mortgage market but with interest rates that are around double what they were prior to the Ex-Chancellor's mini-budget. Other lenders have pulled out of the market completely and are not planning to return for the time being.
