A huge ice sheet has been torn off, as discovered by paleoclimatologist Jack Hall when he is in Antarctica. But he is unaware that this occurrence will set off a significant climatic change that will have an impact on everyone on the planet. Sam, his kid, is currently in New York City attending an event with friends. Once everyone understands the globe is going to enter a new Ice Age and a slew of weather-related catastrophes start happening all across the planet, they find out that it has been pouring nonstop for the past three days. The population then starts attempting to flee to the south, where it is warmer.
