Town Councillor Ousted for Not Getting Vaxxed and Life Threatened!

The mayor and councillors in the town of Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland, objected to fellow councillor Grant Abbott's vaccination status which resulted in persistent and vicious attacks against Mr Abbott.

As one example, on March 12, 2022, two councillors organized a protest against Mr. Abbott, that resulted in people gathering outside of his residence, because he refused to comply with the unlawful mandates. This created a backlash against Mr. Abbott in his community, culminating in a gunshot through Mr. Abbott's front room window while his family, including his wife and three children, were sleeping.

Mr. Abbott is courageously moving forward with legal action to hold those who fueled this crime, to account. He is not only doing this for himself but to help represent every other elected official who has endured similar discrimination and attacks.
