Housing is becoming unaffordable, FTBs are in decline and a generation of under 35s do not hold the ability to buy a home. This has been detrimental for the economy and it has contributed towards wealth inequality rising. A crash in the housing market will redistribute capital and it will be good for millennials, generation z, and the least well-off.
