French MP Told to "Go Back to Africa!"

WATCH: A session of France's parliament is suspended after a far-right MP yells, "Go back to Africa," during a statement from MP Carlos Martens Bilongo about a rescue boat being denied entry to port with hundreds of passengers on it.

“Today I was sent back to my skin color. I was born in France. I am a French deputy,” said MP Bilongo about the incident.

France's Parliamentary left wing has called for the far-right MP Gregoire de Fournas to be expelled.
