In this videio, the Coweta County Sheriff's Office in Georgia engages in a high speed pursuit with the driver if a large U-Haul. The driver, identified as Jackie Harris, was attempting to hit law enforcement and civilian vehicles during the pursuit. It was those actions that caused police to fire upon the truck. The pursuit lasted about 31 minutes after which Harris finally stopped, and was determined to have been struck by 3 bullets, one of which struck his spinal column and left him paralyzed.

After being taken into custody, Harris admitted to police that he was intoxicated and had taken an "8 ball", which is 3.5 grams of cocaine, prior to the pursuit.
