In 2003 and 2004, the Jordan Brand released a few Air Jordan XII (12) including a model nicknamed the “French Blue” Jordan Retro 12 (XII) for its color-way.

This Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro is composed of White, French Blue, Metallic Silver, and Varsity Red, this color-way is definitely a favorite among Air Jordan collector’s for its originality and appeal. It has been a few years since the Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro French Blue was first released and this has caused a price raise despite its $135 retail price tag and January 10, 2004 release date.

Released in April of 2016, the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘French Blue’ features a white tumbled leather upper with a French Blue mudguard. Originally released in 2004, the ‘French Blue’ colorway was meant to be a Washington Wizards-themed pair of sneakers for Michael Jordan. But since Jordan retired from the NBA the sneakers were worn by Richard Hamilton, Ray Allen and Kobe Bryant during the 2003-2004 season.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro 'French Blue' 2016 brought back one of the more popular non-Chicago Bulls colorways. The white tumbled leather upper features French Blue on the basketball textured mudguard, with the color also emerging on the outsole, where it's complemented by red. Originally designed as a Washington Wizards look for Michael Jordan, he never wore the shoe on court, as it released after his final retirement.

The Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” is Michael Jordan's twelfth signature basketball shoe. It originally released in 2004 and will be Remastered by Jordan Brand on April 2nd, 2016 for an MSRP of $190.
